Structure of the delivered ZIP Archive

The Snow Optimizer is delivered as a ZIP archive. It contains all delivered components:

  • Folder 1_Documentation: Contains in the sub-folders Deutsch and English HTML files with links to the Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software online documentation in Flexera Docs.

  • Folder 2_Software_Transports: Contains the transport files as well as an HTML file with the object list of the transport.

  • Folder 3_Role_Transports: Contains in the three sub-folders Master, Satellite and Satellite_46c the sample roles for the master system, the satellites and one additional satellite role for systems on 4.6c. Here as well the sub-folders contain an HTML file with the object lists.

    • The Master sub-folder contains the BASIS_RELEASE_GREATER_EQUAL_752 and BASIS_RELEASE_LESS_THAN_752 sub-folders. The BASIS_RELEASE_GREATER_EQUAL_752 folder contains the authorizations for master systems with a Basis Release of 7.52 or higher, the BASIS_RELEASE_LESS_THAN_752 folder contains the authorizations for master systems with a Basis Release lower than 7.52. The BASIS_RELEASE_GREATER_EQUAL_752 contains the following extra authorizations for the /DYNAM/MASTER_ALL and /DYNAM/MASTER_NO_EXE authorization roles:

    • The Satellite sub-folder contains the BASIS_RELEASE_GREATER_EQUAL_740 and BASIS_RELEASE_LESS_THAN_740 sub-folders. The BASIS_RELEASE_GREATER_EQUAL_740 folder contains the authorizations for satellite systems with a Basis Release of 7.40 or higher, the BASIS_RELEASE_LESS_THAN_740 folder contains the authorizations for satellite systems with a Basis Release lower than 7.40. The BASIS_RELEASE_GREATER_EQUAL_740 contains the following extra authorizations for the /DYNAM/SATELLITE_UPDATE authorization role:

  • Folder 4_Deletion_Transports: Contains the transport files for the transport which deletes all objects of the Snow Optimizer as well as an HTML file with the object list of the transport.
